My name is Dr. Chiamaka Onyewuchi Nnamani (fondly known by my patients as Dr. O). I am a general pediatrician and author of the children's picture book on breastfeeding, 'Ziora's Quest: Mommy's Milk Rocks!'. I reside in Hershey, PA.
I am also a very passionate breastfeeding advocate, Chapter Breastfeeding Coordinator for the PA AAP, two-time grant recipient from the Pennsylvania Department of Health (to improve the breastfeeding rates in moms) and member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI).
I was blessed to have breastfed all three of my children (still nursing my two-year-old son who is showing no signs at all of slowing down!).
I feel truly honored to work with children- I spend my time unapologetically acting like a kid every day!
In my spare time, I love to spend time with my wonderful, supportive husband of twelve years and my three beautiful children-ages 10, 8 and 2. The spa and the beach are my happy places. I also love to read biographies/autobiographies, travel, dance, watch comedies, and shop!
